The premise of this show is so straightforward and overused it should be made illegal. When I started to see the promos on ABC I absolutely SWORE up and down that I would never watch it. But my obligation (or obsession) to my television hobby made it nearly impossible for me to stay away tonight. The remote kept drifting back to channel 8. Honestly, that Walter reminds me a bit of my sort of cousin David (Marcia's stepson for any of you who don't get my reference). Actually, he seems JUST LIKE DAVID USED TO BE. It is incredible. My favorite part of the show is when we get to see David, I mean Walter, in a mesh see through tank top with his fat rolls literally waving at the camera and his man boobs flopping around while he does his stress test.
In reality, I could take or leave the show and I am not sure Shaq is really the most well suited celebrity personality wise to launch a campaign against childhood obesity, but Walter is going to keep me coming back for more. I might even add it to my season pass.

I love the loop
All I can say is that the loop is summer entertainment at its finest. This show is classic Fox, all the way. From the ridiculous cast to the painful writing.
I love the brother he lives with. I love the women in the show. The silly situations.
Come on people, it's summer. This means you must make time for the loop & shows like Hell's Kitchen. How is it that i've already missed like more than half the entire cast being thrown off? Didn't the show just start last week?

The Loop is horrible
We watched an episode of The Loop last night - ouch, it has become unwatchable. Rescue Me starts Wednesday! Ladies and Gentlemen, start your Tivos! And then The Closer begins next Monday. Looking forward to it.

Jericho Lives making a dent
CBS reconsidering bringing back Jericho. I guess the 50,000 lbs of peanuts made an impression. Hooray - this would be very interesting if they really do bring it back next fall (or midseason).

FCC stands for ....
I know Danny and Matt will be so happy to hear that Jack's stand at NBS against the FCC is becoming THE issue for all networks.
In a 2-to-1 vote, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in New York rejected the FCC's ruling that Fox's airing of "fleeting expletives" uttered by Nicole Richie and Cher during the 2002 and 2003 Billboard Music Awards, equated to indecency. The judges also questioned if the new FCC policy, which was imposed after Bono's word choice during NBC's broadcast of the Golden Globe Awards in 2003, was legally sustainable. The FCC is currently reviewing the appellate court's decision. A second case challenging the FCC indecency ruling involves fines forced on CBS from the Janet Jackson Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction incident.
