Jericho Lives making a dent

CBS reconsidering bringing back Jericho. I guess the 50,000 lbs of peanuts made an impression. Hooray - this would be very interesting if they really do bring it back next fall (or midseason).

The network is bringing back the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho for a 7 episode, mid-season run after a tireless online fan campaign convinced executives to remove it from the scrap heap. (The campaign included fans sending nuts to CBS headquarters; more than 20 tons were received.) CBS Entertainment Chief Nina Tassler posted an open letter to fans on the Jericho message boards announcing the news and reminding them more viewers would have to be converted for the show to live on. Now it's time for the digital CBS Audience Network to kick into gear to catch newcomers up on the storyline and keep fan enthusiasm stoked until the new episodes return.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!

tell all your friends - watch last season's episodes of jericho on cbs:
Okay all you Jericho nuts - this one's for you. CBS will add the show back to its primetime schedule on July 6, when the network will rebroadcast the pilot episode at 9p and first season episodes will follow on Fridays at 9p throughout the summer. Last week, CBS ordered seven new episodes for a mid-season launch sometime next season.

This is great news. The show is actually good. And I'm happy that Skeet finally has a decent vehicle, even if they did kill off SPOILER!!!
