Ugly Red Dress

I tried to watch some of the program. It comes on at 5:30 here, so I kept getting interrupted by little monsters. I thought Little Miss Sunshine was going to win more - it seemed to be getting a lot of hype leading up to last night. I have yet to judge for myself. Very happy Forest Whitaker won - he's a very interesting actor. One of the few who seem to actually be acting as opposed to just reading lines. Oh my goodness, how horrible was Nicole Kidman's dress? It hurt my eyes (I'm not exactly one to judge though!!)

i TOTALLY agree. nic's dress was horrible - and i was shocked that PEOPLE listed her among the best dressed. i didn't like gwyneth paltrow's hair either. i thought it looked weird all slicked to the side like that. NOT normal.

I agree with you on Gwen's hair - looked like she was fussing with it all night too. Definitely not normal.

Reese? I can't say that I am surprised that a woman who most likely didn't eat for the week leading up the Oscars is viewed as best dressed. I couldn't get over how freaky her chin looked with the hollowed out cheeks. All I could think was how much I wanted to feed her. So who do you think had the best hair? Nicholoson?

I thought Joey Potter was best dressed and had the best hair. She definitely should have come in first in the pageant.

I liked Reese Witherspoon's dress too - and I agree she looked like a very hungry woman.
